Photography
Photography was my way back to the visual arts after a career focused on words. Walking with my camera along the Otonabee River or the canal near my home in East City, and along the river in Lakefield where I work out every week with my trainer — the wonderful Uttara Lozej — I was able to refocus and build up a new store of images. As always, I work in "series" — in this case, focused on botanicals, Lakefield, and exploration of my home town of Winnipeg Manitoba.

Some of these photos have migrated into paint (see my "natural abstract" and "micro-landscape" series, for example), but they are also available for purchase in the form of "plaques" (photographs decoupaged to cradled wood panels and finished with varnish or — more recently — resin) and giclee prints on fine art paper.
